Very professional crew, performed the work as specified, ahead of schedule and very neat. After completion the crew cleaned up and left the site as they found it. I couldn’t find a drop of paint or over-spray anywhere. Very satisfied with the job.

Bill showed up right on time and helped me pick the perfect paint colors for my guest bathroom, master bathroom, master bedroom, and kitchen including the old, funky cabinets. I wasn’t around when the place was painted, but I felt like Dorothy opening the door to Oz when I walked in my newly painted rooms. FANTASTIC! Best paint job, ever. And the house was cleaner than when I left it.

Buying a new home is stressful. Finding a painter to get the new home move-in ready on a deadline is even more stressful.And then Bill showed up with his paint swatches and made it all fun. I don’t even want to recommend Bill and the crew because I selfishly want to keep them to myself, on call at all times for whenever my painting mood strikes. But that’s not fair to all of you who deserve a great paint job with prompt, friendly, helpful service. Bill and crew–who I never saw since they painted and cleaned four rooms in record speed while I was out-of-town–did a perfect job. And they finished five days earlier than planned. The best part is I’m loving my painted rooms. Good quality paint with great quality painting that will last. And now for the rest of the house….

It was such a good experience from the first visit for an estimate to the actual completion of work. I cannot think of one thing that did not go well. The workmanship was great, the attention to detail was appreciated, and the awareness to leave the working area as they found it. It was so important to us that there was zero clean up required on our part!

The new garage door was not installed as expected but it was not an issue as the accommodation to make a return visit was never a problem. It was noticed on the return visit to paint the garage that trim was missing when the new garage was installed but without hesitation a trip was made to the nearest hardware store and the trim was installed prior to painting. How good is that? Really good.

My elderly mother moved into an assisted living facility & her home of 40 years had to be cleared out & prepped for rental. I called Bill Dumond of Pacific West Painting to come out to the house to give me an estimate for prep & painting of the entire interior. I live 75 miles away & there was a considerable amount of prep work required, so I had Bill walk from room to room while on the phone, so I could tell him everything I wanted done. Bill advised me to have a coat of oil based primer put on all interior surfaces, because my mother was a smoker & the tars could leach through a water base paint. After we went over everything, Bill gave me the quote & it was about the same total cost as another painter’s estimate. But Bill’s estimate included the additional oil base primer and significant more prep work than the other guy. At first he said he couldn’t schedule me in for about a month, but to accommodate me, he was able to shift some things around and start in about 2 days, so I gave him the job. We were also having the floors replaced & Bill was able to coordinate with the flooring guy to do all the prep & paint work before the floors were installed, then come back & paint the base boards after they were installed. Throughout the job, Bill called me about any details that were unclear, so there were no misunderstandings. We discussed things like which doorknobs, drawer pulls, towel racks, toilet paper holders, etc to keep & which to toss. It was refreshing to work with someone who actually communicates with you! Thanks to Bill, the house was completely prepped, painted & the floors installed in about 9 days.

The end result was an amazing transformation from an old, tired interior, lost in the 70’s to a beautiful, modern home, anybody would be proud of. I highly recommend Pacific West Painting for a job well done. All in all, it was a big job, done right, on time & for a very good price. If you want good work, honesty & excellent communications, Bill is your guy.

Description Of Work:
Prep & paint the entire interior of a 40 year old house. The prep work included removal of paneling, pegboard, mirrors & wallpaper borders in 2 bedrooms, a mirrored wall & frame around a sliding door in the master bedroom, removal of various trim pieces & change out others, fill in grooves in living room paneling, remove popcorn ceilings in 2 bedrooms, closets in hallway & master bedroom. Many walls & ceiling surfaces had to be patched, sanded & a light orange peel texture applied. After all prep work & texture was completed, a coat of oil base primer was applied to all interior surfaces. This was followed by 2 coats of latex paint, flat for common walls, eggshell for kitchen & bathrooms and semi-gloss for cabinets, baseboards, doors, window sills, heater vents, trim & hutch.

What a sweet paint job! Ventura California

Miraculous! Bill and his team finished painting four rooms in my new townhouse–including stripping and painting lots of funky, old kitchen cabinets– FIVE DAYS EARLIER than expected! They also left the place much more clean and put together than when they arrived. Bill was always prompt and helpful with choosing the perfect paint, and everything he and his crew did exceeded my expectations. What a sweet paint job! In the midst of ridiculous stress with packing a house and trying to get a new house that’s 60 miles away ready for move-in, I’m grateful to have found Pacific West Painting on Yelp. If I could give 10 stars I surely would.

Bill’s crew were amazing!

They arrived right on time, pressure washed the house, and prepped for two days including caulking all windows, doors, gaps arond fascias, and around the entire house where the eves and walls meet. They repaired 3 beams that had dry rot, and filled them with bondo. They did stucco repairs around the entire house, and it looks almost like new (our house is over 50 years old)! Their preparation before painting went far beyond any painters we have ever worked with – nothing short of amazing! They primed and painted until the house looked perfect and did not cut corners in any way.

They were neat, clean and professional, and wanted to ensure that we were happy all the way through the job. They completed the job 1 day ahead of time, and cleaned up afterwards.

We highly recommend Bill Dumond and his wonderful crew. Their quality of workmanship exceeds any painters we have ever used! THis is the second time we have used them (the first was a small interior job) and we will definitely use them in the future.

Pacific West did an outstanding job in completely painting the exterior of our house in Newbury Park. The owner, Bill, was very knowledgeable and personable. He reviewed our requirements and explained the specific aspects of the job. Bill patiently guided us through the color selection process. He provided samples of a number of colors for stucco and trim that we were interested in so that we could see them on various sides of the house under different lighting conditions.

The work was top notch, with all windows and doors taped off prior to painting, lighting fixtures removed and no drips or mess left behind when they were done. The Pacific West crew was on time all four days. They were very friendly and considerate of our needs, true professionals in every aspect. Our neighbors also commented on the friendly and positive attitudes of the painting crew.

Bill came out at the start of the project to review the requirements with us and came back at the end to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.

We definitely would use Pacific West Painting again!
